Puppies for Sale

Price: $2,300.00. Our puppies are AKC registered and will have their first shots and first de-worming before you take them home. Both parents have had their health checks (eyes, hearts, hips and elbows). Copies of these certifications, as well as pedigrees, can be given upon request.

Our pups sell quickly! Usually before they are born, in fact. It’s important to establish a relationship with a breeder early and not be in a desperate rush.

For current information on litters and dates, please click here for our blog with recent updates and news. Please contact us if you’d like to be on our waiting list or if you’d like a referral to other breeders in this area who may have litters sooner. If our timing doesn’t work for you, we would be happy to help you find another responsible breeder. We have some great contacts who’s breeding standards we admire. We aren’t competitive and just want you to find a happy and healthy pup and there are some scary situations out there if you don’t do your research well.

If you are interested in starting a conversation with us about whether or not this is a good fit for you and your family, please email us at info@goldenpuppies.net. We are currently taking names of people interested. Register your interest ASAP at no cost.

Families we are looking for:

We are looking for families that have seriously thought through the commitment of having a Golden Retriever in their family by doing thorough research on the breed and their needs of attention and physical activity.

Budget: Raising a Golden responsibly can cost you between $1,000-$1,500 a year between food, vaccinations and other misc. expenses like a dog license and toys. Additional costs the first year include the spay/neuter surgery around 6 months of age and additional vaccinations at 3-4 months of age. A pup needs four vet checks before 16 weeks of age. The first one is with us and you will be responsible for the other three. After that, they only need to see the vet once a year unless something is wrong.

Life-long commitment: The average life-span for Goldens is 12-14 years. They bond very deeply with their humans and it breaks their heart to be separated. Please do some soul-searching and know that you will do whatever it takes to keep your friend happy and healthy until they die. It is very hard for them to be re-homed. For example, if you rent your home now and dogs are allowed, please commit to your furry friend that dogs will be allowed at your next home and you won’t re-home your him/her for a more convenient housing situation. You won’t be sorry - your dog will return the commitment and love you with his/her whole heart! They are incredibly loyal and just want the same from you!

We encourage you to research this breed to know if it is the right fit for you and your lifestyle. A good place to start is at the American Kennel Association: CLICK HERE.
